One area where our English classics ranges stand alone in beauty is the quality of their marquetry, an intricate technique developed during the early 16th Century in Europe. This painstaking and complex process requires immense skill and involves covering the structural carcass with pieces of veneer, cut by hand to make decorative detail. Our English classics predominantly produce pieces in Walnut, although mahogany also takes a bow.
