1. Internship – Product Writer/Editorial

Hours: 40 hours per week, Mon-Friday (Very occasional Saturday's)
Starting Salary: Up to £15000 per annum based on experience (pro rata)
Annual Leave: 20 days per annum (pro rata)
Term: 6 month fixed-term contract (with huge potential)
Location: Unit 15, The Metro Centre, Isleworth, Middlesex, TW7 6NJ

Due to recent expansion we now have lovely new showrooms and offices and require additional people with flair and creativity to come in and contribute to our beautiful website content. The candidate would be gaining experience in the furniture and interiors industry, experience with using ‘Magento’ on a day-to-day basis (probably the biggest and fastest growing Ecommerce system today), and will of course gain invaluable office experience.

Main Duties

  • Upload and update images and specifications of online products
  • Creatively write descriptions for new and existing products
  • Undertake research on literature relevant to any new suppliers and products
  • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to gain additional information when required
  • Photograph new products
  • Proactively organise a schedule of new products to upload and liaise with the team for ideas and trends
  • Update and maintain all areas of the website
  • To undertake any additional duties as requested by the Office Manager
  • To assist the customer services team  

Essential Skills, Qualifications and Personal Qualities

  • Degree in History, English Literature, or any relevant Bachelor of Arts degree, or someone who has a successful portfolio of working within a similar role
  • A high level of literacy and writing skills
  • Interpersonal and communication skills to conduct effective working relationships with the team
  • Good IT skills, in particular Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and some experience with Ecommerce
  • Ability to prioritise and plan ahead
  • Willingness to update and acquire new skills and knowledge
  • Ability to work on own initiative without close supervision

 Desirable

  • Good experience and knowledge with using 'Magento' or similar Ecommerce platform
  • Knowledge of photography - Use of DSLR Camera, lighting equipment and a keen eye for a great photo

Due to recent expansion we now have lovely new showrooms and offices and require additional sales people both (Senior and Junior), to join our expanding team in assisting in closing and following up prospects, as well as on-going sales and development of the company. This is a genuine career opportunity. 

The roles are based in our friendly offices with showroom appointments plentiful. Highly organised with excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Candidates with previous/current experience in this sector should certainly apply.  

  • There is NO cold calling required 
  • Previous 'proven' sales experience is required, and you must be goal and target driven
  • You will be required to manage your own diary, conduct showroom appointments (to both the trade and public), be highly organised as you will receive plenty of emails and calls, and ultimately be enthusiastic and friendly!
  • Experience in MS Word/Excel is favourable
  • An appreciation of 'beautiful' furniture is a must – after all you will be selling it!
  • A good basic, commission structure and a company Smart car are all up for grabs!
  • Alternate Saturday work 9.30am to 4.30pm is necessary

3. Warehouse Support / Driver / Drivers mate – All required!


Due to continued expansion our busy warehouse based in Isleworth TW7 6NJ seeks physically fit individual(s) to assist in the day to day workings of the warehouse internally and externally with deliveries. You will report directly to the Warehouse Manager and work with the rest of the team Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm.

Most of our gorgeous furniture is made using mahogany wood, and as such some of our items are very heavy!

This varied role will enable you to gain experience in the quality controlling of items, the re-organising of our showrooms, and also be involved in carrying out deliveries. Reliable candidates need only apply.

This is an excellent opportunity. The daily rates are negotiable and will be based on industry experience. Moving forwards, we are also happy to review the successful candidates after a 3-6 month probationary period, with a view to promotion.

Due to strict insurance restrictions, applicants for the delivery driver positions will need to be over 25 years of age and ‘preferably’ carry a full and clean UK Drivers licence.

4. Magento/PHP Developer Immediately Required

• Valid and accessible coding to W3C and WAI standards
• Cross-browser testing on all major platforms and browsers
• Magento Developer Certification would be an added bonus
• Experience using LAMP developer environment and version control
• Agile project management methods and skills
• Experience to a moderate level with all server commands using SSH and general Linux server administration
• Good knowledge and web design skills using Photoshop with attention to detail
• User Experience (UX) / Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) skills
• Ability to write well-structured and well-commented code with documentation
• Other desirable skills include Sage, XML, XSLT, Semantics, Mozenda (highly desirable), WordPress, Drupal, SOAP, REST, APIs in general and ERP/stock management systems
• Excellent communication skills
