Every now and then, we at Sweetpea & Willow, like to introduce you to the people in our industry who we absolutely adore. These are the interior design bloggers, designers, and generally like-minded individuals who influence the world of design by consistently posting beautiful imagery and useful tips.

Now it’s time for the immensely talented, Tamsyn Morgans, creator of The Villa on Mount Pleasant, to sit in our hot seat. Tamsyn’s beautiful vintage style is deeply inspired by nature and vibrant florals in particular. Her beautiful scrabble letter collages and flat lays have become a staple of her blog, and she was even kind enough to provide a gorgeous image for our Summer of Sweetpea event last year.

We can’t wait for you to see what Tamsyn had to say!

.  .  .

The first thing I do when I wake up is…

Check my phone, which is a really terrible habit I need to break!

On my bedside table, you would find…

A vintage lamp, a cup of tea, and flowers for the garden in the spring/summer months.

An invaluable piece of information that I’ve received and passed on is…

Be brave and put yourself first.

The two most important things I can’t leave home without are…

My camera and lip balm.

Right now, I’m listening to…

Jane’s Addiction and The Smashing Pumpkins, reliving my 90’s youth!

In one short sentence, I would describe my home as…

Eclectic, colourful and vintage.

The best bargain I’ve ever purchased is…

My stunning two-tone deco mirror, £30 at a car boot fair.

My top 3 dinner guests would be…

Vivienne Westwood, Dave Grohl and Tracey Emin.

The thing I love most about my job is…

Being able to use all my creative skills – I also love that I am learning so much, it’s a learning curve that I’m really relishing

My dream destination to visit would be…

San Francisco or the Neon Museum in Las Vegas.

The one thing I can’t live without is…

My camera!

On my to-do list, today is…

Get the garden ready for some outdoor living accessories I’m shooting.

My favourite way to wind-down is…

Beautiful candles or a walk along a beach.

Tonight I will probably be dreaming about…

Where I’m going to plant all the incredible dahlias I’ve got potted up!

My dream piece from Sweetpea & Willow would be…

The Berkley Aurora sofa, and I’d have it in a pale blush linen, so gorgeous!

Finish this sentence. Sweetpea & Willow are…

Easily one of my favourite stores to not only shop, ut become inspired for the new season. You just have to look at that product styling.
