We are delighted to have five, incredible industry leaders who know all about creating stunning spaces and captivating, interiors-focused content on our judging panel for this year’s awards. You’ve most likely heard of them before; but in case you haven’t, we thought we’d share a bit about each of them so you can get to know them a little better.


Richard O’Gorman – @HouseHomo

This judge needs no introduction! We are thrilled to have welcomed back the winner of our first-ever Sweetpea & Willow Home Awards to judge this year’s event! Richard, a Birmingham-based interior decorator, is an expert in using colour and shapes to create the most astounding visual masterpieces and has transformed the home he purchased right at the start of the pandemic into a beautiful explosion of contrast and rich colour.

Greg Penn – @manwithahammer

Self-taught designer and home restorer, Greg is currently two years into an impressive, mammoth of a home renovation – the restoration of a 5 floor and 30-bedroom Georgian townhouse in Plymouth, Devon where he resides and was one of our runners-ups last year. In addition to being an amazing interior influencer who is incredibly skilled in using bold prints and patterns, Greg’s beautifully written, story-like social captions are full of wit and humour and provide an honest and inspiring insight into his life and renovation journeys.

Amara Hasham – @thepajaamahub

Also judging this year’s awards is our other runner-up of 2021, Amara Hasham! Based in Berkshire, Amara knows everything about harmoniously incorporating lots of rich colours, materials and textures into a single space to create a lively and personalised setting. She also specialises in “damage free” rental hacks, DIY ideas and shares amazing tips on how to make the most of a rented space.

Kirsty Gore – @kjg_home

Kirsty Gore is an interior content creator, stylist and blogger who inspires interiors enthusiasts with ideas on how to create homely, Nordic-themed spaces. She lives with her family in a dreamy home – arguably the most coveted home in the UK – which she renovated entirely and shares incredible images of on her popular Instagram account. She also runs a successful interior e-design business through which she demonstrates how to create timelessly chic and tranquil spaces.

Reena Simon – @hygge_for_home

Located in Cardiff, Reena is a fabulous, interior expert who enriches the world of interiors by sharing practical advice for creating the ultimate ‘hygge’ spaces. She shares amazing imagery of her gorgeous home – a 60s bungalow which she has been renovating – and offers great design and renovation tips over on her popular Instagram account and blog.
