We have a fantastic opening for a Junior Creative Writer / Product Uploader to help take Sweetpea & Willow to the next level.

As the Junior Creative Writer / Product Uploader you will be in charge of adding fabulous new pieces to the website, and uploading and writing creative descriptions for our growing product range. You will also work closely with the design department, providing assistance by maintaining a high resolution image library.

Responsibilities of the Junior Creative Writer

  • Uploading and writing descriptions for new products on our website. This involves creative writing, some basic photo manipulation and the daily use of our eCommerce platform, Magento.
  • Planning and writing blog posts which discuss the latest trends in the interiors industry, whilst also promoting particular products.
  • Maintaining our Pinterest social media account, regularly updating it with exciting, engaging content, answering any questions from users and tracking activity.
  • Requesting high resolution images from suppliers and ensuring Press Loft is up to date with the latest product and lifestyle images.
  • Maintaining a high resolution image library.
  • Understanding current and future trends and implementing relevant effective keywords throughout Pinterest and Press Loft
  • Working closely with the creative team to ensure that tone of voice is consistent and on brand.
  • To undertake any additional duties as requested by office manager/directors

Skills and Requirements of the Junior Creative Writer

The perfect candidate will have excellent written communication skills and a flair for the creative. You will be confident working independently and as part of a team, and will strive to produce consistently exciting content.

  • Excellent general IT skills, including a strong understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite, and basic competence with Adobe Photoshop
  • Proven ability to write creatively with outstanding grammar and vocabulary.
  • Previous experience with Pinterest and Press Loft would be beneficial.
  • Be forward thinking, with the ability to anticipate and react to future trends.
  • Have great inter-personal and communication skills to conduct effective working relationships with the team.
  • Excellent organisational, multitasking and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously where necessary.
  • A fantastic telephone manner.
  • A love for furniture and interiors is a must!


  • Competitive salary
  • Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm
