Junior Content Writer / Product Uploader

Sweetpea & Willow is looking for a talented Junior Content Writer / Product Uploader. You will primarily be uploading and writing creative descriptions for our growing range of fabulous products within our marketing team. You will work alongside others in the team to conceptualise and produce amazing content and copy for our website and campaigns. This role will encourage you to bring exciting new ideas to help evolve our successful and growing brand.

 

Responsibilities of the Junior Content Writer / Product Uploader:
• Uploading and writing product descriptions for new products on our website. This involves creative writing, some basic photo manipulation, and the daily use of our eCommerce platform, Magento.
• Composing copy for landing pages, newsletters and other promotional content.
• Planning and writing blog posts which discuss the latest trends in the interiors industry, whilst also promoting particular products.
• Working closely with other members of the Marketing Team to ensure that tone of voice is consistent and on brand.
• Undertaking any additional duties as requested by office manager/directors.

Requirements, Skills & Attributes:
• Proven ability to write creatively with outstanding grammar and vocabulary.
• Excellent general IT skills, including a strong understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite, and basic competence with Adobe Photoshop.
• A genuine love for furniture and interiors is essential.
• Be forward thinking, with the ability to anticipate and react to future trends.
• Excellent organisational, multitasking and problem solving skills.
• Have great inter-personal and communication skills to build effective working relationships with the team.
• Experience with Magento and/or WordPress is a bonus, but not required as training will be provided.
• Ability to work autonomously where necessary.

Benefits:
• £21 - £22K based on experience per annum plus a company pension scheme.
• Location is Isleworth, TW7 6NJ, hours are 8.30am - 5.30pm Monday to Thursday (finish early on Fridays with drinks at our bar!)
