All mattresses, especially when packed with natural cotton and wool fillings, have a settling in period which is usually 2-3 months. It is vital that in this period you turn and rotate the mattress regularly to ensure that weight is spread evenly over the mattress. As the mattress settles the fillings will compress bringing the overall depth of the mattress down. Our fillings will mould to your individual body shape during the first three months to give you your own personal mattress.

A double sided mattress will need to be turned and rotated once a week for the first 2 - 3 months. After this period we would recommend that you turn monthly. A single sided mattress will still need to be turned weekly for the first 2-3 months and monthly afterwards but you would need to rotate head to toe.
