Delivery Driver

Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm (Overtime and weekends are required from time to time)

Salary: £17,000 - £18,000 per year based on experience

Holiday: 28 days per annum (pro rata) inclusive of all UK Bank Holidays

Job Description:

• If you are reliable, physically fit and want a solid full time career with amazing working hours then please read on……
• You will be delivering furniture with a drivers mate, in our fleet of Mercedes sprinters, generally within M25 to customers room of choice. 
• You will be astute and work within a 2 man delivery team. You will take the lead, and need to call and update customers while on route to each delivery, you will install, remove all packaging safely, and when required also assemble furniture.
• Liaising with the Logistics Manager when issues occur on site
• Loading and unloading your own van. Keeping the van tidy and making sure you have the correct orders and equipment before leaving the warehouse
• Assisting with moving goods within our warehouses and assembling the showroom as required
• Being a team player across the business and providing back-up where needed in other departments when busy (i.e. working in the workhouse wrapping small parcels etc.)

Job Requirements:

• You must have a FULL UK clean driving licence with a minimum of 5 years driving experience.
• You must be physically fit. You will be required to lift heavy furniture (including big sofas, beds and wardrobes).
• A careful approach to handling and carrying out basic assembly of furniture
• A polite and professional face-to-face and telephone manner
• Excellent verbal and written English language and communication skills
• Versatility - A big part of our team is the willingness to help one another, even though it may fall outside of the job description
• Must live within commutable distance to Isleworth TW7 6NJ

We are offering great working hours being only 07.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday and when possible we offer additional weekend work and overtime if you request it!
